What Needlework will you work?
Whichever needlecraft you choose to do, there are three rules to be followed.
Rule 1. Enjoy the planning of your piece as you gather materials and plan what you are going to create.
Rule 2. Enjoy the process of creating your work. Allow yourself to become fully absorbed in what you doing and leave the rest of the world behind. Crafting time is your time to enjoy.
Rule 3. Enjoy the piece after it is completed. Don’t hide it away. Keep it where you can enjoy it and if you do give it away, enjoy the process of giving.
Yarns, textiles, cottons, fabrics and threads all offer endless opportunities to express our creative selves. Whether you choose knitting, embroidery, quilting, applique, crocheting, tatting, tapestry or some other form, you will never be short of a project to indulge your tactile and visual senses.
