Are you supposed to thank someone when they say that they like something of yours?
I really don’t get it.
Like if someone says, “Hey I like your top”, are you supposed to thank them? If I am supposed to, what’s the reason? Why do I need to thank them for liking it? I mean, if they like it then they like it. I just don’t get it, haha.
Thanking them is the polite thing to do. They’ve taken the time out to admire something of yours. By doing so, they’re acknowledging that you have good taste. That merits a word of thanks.
